It has been proven that obese individuals are at a greater risk of developing many illnesses like diabetes and heart disease. Studies show that many overweight individuals lose weight with lot exercise, dietary supplements, and changing what they eat. Most tend to regain weight when returning to normal habits. Losing weight is not so much the problem as maintaining a healthy weight.
Scientists working on a solution have recently found a very crucial connection between the hormone called leptin and the brain’s response toward fat storage.
It has been observed that when an individual loses weight, there is a reduction in their leptin level. Likewise, when a person lost body fat successfully and returned leptin levels to normal, they managed to take control of their appetited and keep the weight off.
Many studies suggest that controlling levels of leptin not only helped to shed fat, but keep it off permanently.
